Not getting email field in access token, but my friend is?

At a glance

The community member is having an issue where they are not getting an email field in the access token despite having the "email" scope, while their friend is able to get it. They are both using the "frontend javascript app" type. In the comments, another community member suggests that the issue is resolved, and that the email field needs to be selected as an additional "claim" in the "access token -> customize" section under "applications -> tokens". However, the community member is unsure if this is a good flow since they already selected the email scope.

Hi,

I'm not getting an email field in the access token despite having a scope of "email". However, my friend has the same scope, and he is getting it?

We are both using the "frontend javascript app" type.

nevermind, it's an additional "claim" that you have to select in "access token -> customize" under "applications -> tokens". I'm not sure if this is a good flow because we already select that we want an email with the email scope, surely?

Great to see your resloved the issue. Can you clarify where else you already selected it to be in the scope?
