Setting up specific permissions for team members

Hey , great question! Unfortunately, other permission controls for a team member are not currently supported. However, we do have it on our roadmap to advance. Is this a blocker for you to use Kinde?

I cannot even delete a user once it’s invited. I’m really shocked that you’ve consider so many great scenarios and haven’t considered the most simple one which is providing basic access to your team.

Do you have an ETA for that? This is really a dealbreaker

Thanks for confirming, Matias. I have passed this along to the team. We haven't had many requests for this so far, which is why it hasn't been brought forward on our roadmap. It will be before the end of the year.

Could you clarify if you are trying to delete a team member or an end user in your Kinde account? As in both situations, you should be able to do this.

It’s always team users . I can delete team users but any small to medium company will probably need this. i.e: if I need to grant access to a design to customize the UI I need to make him admin of the entire app. It makes no sense.

just to be 100% clear you are having issue as a Team owner to delete a team member?

No. I can delete users but it makes no sense. I need to invite an designer, he will have access to ALL user information just to be able to edit a CSS style? It pretty much makes an amazing platform a POC tool only. This is kinda the most basic requirement for any micro company, not to say a small to medium one
