Marketing checkbox not showing up despite enabling it

Hello I turned on the Marketing Checkbox but it does not show up. We only have social logins and it seems like that may be what is affecting it. Is this done on purpose or should the checkbox still be available?

Hey it is currently coupled to the credential based flows (email/phone/username) just in terms of logistics that you aren’t being redirected anywhere external - and even location of the checkbox when there is a combination of social + credential flows.

I totally get the use case though, I’ll speak to the team and see what we can do here

Yh i thought as much. It could be very useful for us (especially if we can filter the users API with it) as we can cut out hubspot as a tool fully

Hey thanks for the reminder! Our plan is to add the checkbox to the user.created webhook which is triggered during the auth flow, this would allow you to listen to the event and update Hubspot or whatever you need to do, should be cleaner than polling the API

And will the checkbox actually show up if you only use social auth
