Configure header auth on webhook endpoints

Hi guys. Is there a way to configure header auth on webhook endpoints?

Hi,

There is no way to add, could you let me know what header options you're wanting to set?

AWS API Gateway auth header

Hey ,
Could you explain a bit more about what you are looking to achieve by configuring "header auth on webhook endpoints"?

It’s pretty simple actually. All my endpoints are secured by an API GW (aws) with API key enforcement (via x-api-key header). That means that every request without that header will be stopped by the GW. I’d love to simple create a new endpoint to connect to the webhook system.

Since it’s not supported I need to create a new application simple to change the way the security works and have the api-key be sent via query param. It doesn’t really seems that complex to add the posibility for the user to add “context header” to the request.

Hey ,
Thanks for explaining more about your use-case.
My webhooks expert teammate will be online on Monday (UK time).
I will reach out to them then, and get back to you when I have more info.

Hey ,
Unfortunately configuring header auth on webhooks endpoints is not currently possible, but after discussing this request with my team, we think its a reasonable request.

So I have added your request to your backlog.

Is this blocking you at the moment?

Hi . No, I already had to develop a work around 😞

Good to hear you arent blocked by this.

This is something we definitely want to build, but I cannot provide any ETAs at the moment on when we would get around to it

Thanks . I would suggest allowing the user to define the HTTP method.

Noted. I agree this would be a good thing to configure/define.
I have noted this down.

Please don't hesitate to reach out for more requests like this, or if you become blocked.
